For Sonya’s Three Line Tale Week #232. Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt...

I had once been an essential part of the bathing routine of the chubby human, who would yell out “ucky” as he grabbed me and splash around the tub, trying to swim like me.
But now, I sit in the corner and observe him play with new bath companions: a panda, a tiger, a snake, a monkey, an insect and a rabbit; a set of fighter toys from something called a movie.
And I ponder as I watch him conduct mock kung-fu scenes; is replacement an essential component of change?

A good question and probably more than one answer. Brilliant take on the prompt! Thank you so much for joining in.

I don’t think replacement is an essential component of change but, it is the preferred one.

Yeah, but it’s quite painful for the ones being replaced.
But I guess that’s how we find new avenues for ourselves.

I was just planning to re-watch Kung fu panda, yesterday. Such a coincidence! 😁
And, the final question was brilliant. Great take on the prompt!

Thanks a lot Anisha 😊 I wrote this after my re-watch, so the characters got incorporated. 😍
