Oh Sunlight! These humans are at it again. Urrgh!

They carved their symbols right on my white, rugged belly. As if marking their territory on the soil, stones and forests wasn’t enough; now they’ve started targeting the trees as well. Did I ask for a tattoo?

And ironically, these symbols are a mark of their eternal love. Are you kidding me? The very next day, another human would happily swing an axe at my shin, ready to create a giant multiplex.

Remind me, why these humans were let out of their quarantine houses?

Now, how do I get it off?

    I am worried about the pandemic but, at the same time deep down don’t wanna see humans let out again too. You feel me?😬

I snickered aloud – ‘quarantine houses’ 😉 I had the same initial thought – why the F*#%! do people carve into trees…..but especially now, so much impermanence during extended quarantine, somehow connecting to others we know are out there….somehow, it doesn’t seem as bad… Thank you for joining us again this week 🖤
