Truthful Tuesday #2

PCGuyIV hosts Truthful Tuesday, where he asks questions that we must answer truthfully.

What’s something that seemingly everyone else just can’t stop talking about that you just never got in to, and why not? What’s something that you hold near and dear, but it seems as though no-one else has heard about it, or at the very least, has no interest in it?

There are a few things that I never got around to reading or watching or even adapting, so I’m keep quiet when others discuss or reference it.

  • Star Wars- too many movies and I’m not much into old SciFi movies to watch them chronologically. (Though I did watch the new Star Trek movies, initially confusing them with Star Wars)
  • The Inheritance Cycle series- Many of my classmates raved about Eragon (the 1st book) and the others in the series, but I could just read the first 10 pages laboriously.
  • Twitter and Trends- As I don’t have a twitter account, I’m kind of unaware of most of the latest hashtag trends. But many of them are so weird (and transient, in hindsight) that I’ll gladly pass.
  • Arrow Verse- The TV shows like Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and others that has so many hooked onto it. Just saw the first two episodes of these 3 and went back to finishing the rest of the GoT episodes.

For the second part, there are two things that I really enjoy- the books written by Jean Sasson and dancing in a fusion style (a mix of western and classical forms). Sasson’s books seem too stark and raw for many of my bibliophile acquaintances and most of the dancers I know, tend to stick to one form for a song.

  1. 🌈I love fusion too. 🦋❤️ Some day i would like to learn different classical and western forms even if it’s only a few steps if each and then we’ll dance together.
I’m a star wars buff. 🤓😁 Star Trek is good too. Love sci fi.💗 Haven’t watched any of the shows that you mentioned. I can gladly watch Sarabhai vs Sarabhai on repeat. 🤣
I love that i get to know you more and more with every answer that u give. P.s- sorry for the long comment.
