Share Your World #8

Share Your World 9-14-2020 is hosted by Melanie and Roger has posed the questions for the Harry Potter segment. This week we visit HP And The Half Blood Prince.

Wizarding Segment

You have just been gifted a magic wand that specializes in completing household chores. You can request the completion of only two household chores. Which chores would you assign your wand to complete?

Cleaning (both jhadu and pocha) and cooking meals. With magic, I expect delicious meals.

At the local Wizards-R-Us store there was a sale on handshake shockers, instant darkness pellets, and levitation pills. Which of these ‘party thrillers’ are you more likely to purchase?

The shockers and darkness pellets. The former for the obnoxious people I meet often and the latter for escaping weird, awkward and fairly uncomfortable situations.

In the alley behind Wizards-R-Us, there was a tradesman selling a Love Potion. The sales pitch was too much for you and you yielded and purchased one vial. What do you do with it?

Hmm.. I sell the bottle to the first luckless, desperate guy/girl at a commission and spend it on desserts.

You are the Great Clearinghouse Winner of a new ‘good luck’ potion – Felix Felicis. It has to be used within the next thirty days or its potency becomes diminished. Do you use it? Do you give it to a friend in need?

I’d share it with my bestie before we appear in the govt exams. 😛

Muggle Segment

If everyone spoke their mind, would this world be a better or worse place?  Why?

Initially, not so much as people would need some time to get used to a more honest and frank world, instead of hiding behind masks of manners, politeness and back-bitching. But gradually, it would get used to it, just like it got accustomed to so many other changes.

Can achieving nothing make a person happy?

I believe that even if a person doesn’t achieve material and financial success, he/she can gain a lot of intangible wealth. So, a person who seems to achieve ‘nothing’ can be happy too, if they feel happy.

How do you know if you love someone enough to marry them?

I’m not married and neither have I experienced such love. In a country where arranged marriages are quite common, I know that love isn’t necessarily needed to get married, nor to sustain it.
I wouldn’t mind if our love grew along with our marriage, in-case of an arranged marriage. And for love marriage, I hope I’ll realise it when our love has arrived at that stage of commitment.
