Share Your World #10

Share Your World 9-28-2020 is hosted by Melanie and she has a few questions for us.

Where do you feel most at home?  Please be more specific than “at home, doh” please. It could be a room in your home, a person, a location…

My room.
Like most teenagers, my room was my sanctuary- my hideout from an annoying sister, my safe-place to daydream, it had my secret chocolate stash so I could eat them whenever I wanted. As it houses my entire book collection, it’s the perfect place to escape some of my ‘enthusiastic’ relatives.

Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car?

I’m more of a ‘take the metro’ person, but these days, I have lessened my use of public transport. So, I would ask my driver to drive me to wherever I absolutely have to go.

What song would you sing on “Karoke Night” (if you were forced to do so)?

I would try to weasel my way out, but if really forced to sing, I’d sing either of these two songs-
Imagine by John Lennon or Purano shei diner kotha by Rabindranath Tagore.

University or life experience, which do you feel best prepares you for life?

I feel it’s a bit of both. College and university (any form of higher education) gives us an opportunity not only to gain a respected and well paying job, but also gives us a lot of experience (competitions, societies, internships) that comes in handy in our professional spheres.

Life experiences, both the good and the bad, prepares us for what life has in store for us. I believe that if we can learn from our past experiences, then our emotions, reactions, expectations, insights, judgements among others will be well-honed for the future.
