Share Your World 9-7-2020 is hosted by Melanie and Roger has posed the questions for the Harry Potter segment. This week we visit “HP And The Order of the Phoenix”.

Wizarding Segment
What happened to cause you to discover ‘bullies” were real?
When I was a child, awareness about bullying wasn’t as prevalent as it is today. But the incidents that I’d thought of as mere teasing amongst classmates and friends, now I feel that they were incidents of bullying.
I’d read of characters in books and movies being identified as bullies, but they seemed too cliched to relate to the various forms of bullying in real life. So, it was in my mid-teens that I’d actually realised that bullies aren’t always fat, mean looking boys or arrogant, hair-flipping girls.
Eavesdropping- When given the chance, how often do you eavesdrop? (this may be a similar question to what some folks said they’d do with an invisibility cloak)
I don’t really believe one should eavesdrop and I’ve stopped it. ‘Nothing good was ever learned from eavesdropping, so mind your business and let others mind theirs.’ -Maryrose Wood.
Having said that, I used to eavesdrop during my childhood, when my sister would get scolded in private.
Escalators, at one time, were the ‘next big thing’. When was the last time you rode an escalator?
Probably a week before the govt declared national lockdown, I rode one in a metro station.
Have you ever ‘let’ someone win in a sports competition or a board game? How did it turn out?
I wan’t one for to many outdoor sports. As far as board games are concerned, I almost always lost in monopoly and don’t know too many card games.
Muggle Segment
I’m very short on time today (Sunday) so I’m borrowing from Rory and Sandmanjazz to fill the questions today:
Do our fears start with our DNA? (Credit to Rory)
Never thought about it. But I know there are so many things much scarier than DNA.
If you could have your hair any colour for 24 hours, what colour would you choose? (Credit to Sandmanjazz)
I like my black hair. But I wouldn’t mind a 24-hr burgundy, or maybe a purple streak or two.
When do you think a person gets old? (Credit to Rory)
When they start to feel they’re old, regardless of physical conditions or year of birth. As it’s often said, age is nothing but a number.
GRATITUDE SECTION
For a loving mother, whose endless patience and wisdom is something I really admire and am truly grateful for.

I am thankful for Aunty too. 😍❤️ That’s how you turned out to be such an amazing person.
And spot on with the bully identification. Bullies in movies are really exaggerated in their physical appearances. Bullies look like any other normal human but with deep seated insecurity which leads them to bring down other people in order for them to feel better about themselves. Have met a few meself.

Yes, they’re often portrayed in a clichéd manner.
